The Company
The company is a renowned developer of innovative, high-end luxury resorts and which has gained significant acclaim across Asia and other international locations. It is currently seeking to further raise its high standards of delivery by hiring several individuals who will be tasked with crafting Best Practice in a number of functional areas. One of the first, is the role of Corporate MEP Standards & Data Manager.
The Position
This is a newly created position and which requires an experienced MEP professional to take responsibility as custodian and owner for all in-house MEP standard, specifications and guidelines whilst regularly seeking to evolve and improve those standards to consistently raise internal performance whilst concurrently acting as guide, mentor and co-ordinator of in-house and external MEP consultants/engineers to ensure that all deliverable MEP services are achieved in accordance with the brand standards across all the company’s international development projects. The role will include a need to establish a database of all MEP information, the development of a corporate guideline, policy and procedure manual, the establishment of MEP data management processes to ensure adequate delivery and receipt of critical MEP information from Corporate HQ to each development location and vice versa. In addition, the successful individual will lead, advise and co-ordinate project team members in all aspects of MEP matters from design through to pre-opening phases.
The Person
It is anticipated that the successful candidate will possess a relevant degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 8-10 years experience within MEP and the management of Best Practice in this field. Ideally, the candidates will offer very strong process-driven backgrounds with prior experience acting in a similar custodian function to control technical excellence. This will require an experienced individual with prior hands-on MEP exposure gained within hotels and resorts and who is meticulous, detailed and capable of generating technical manuals and establishing corporate guidelines. Any exposure to ISO standards development/management, Quality training or Audit exposure would be desirable.
