The Company
The company is a leading global specialist façade player that is renowned for its curtain wall engineering solutions. Through its green technology architectural designs, it delivers expertise that is able to save energy while optimizing the comfort for the interior surroundings. The company is now experiencing strong growth in the region and offers an exciting opportunity to be part of its strategic growth in the global HQ.
The Position
The Senior Principal Engineer is envisaged to have at least 10-20 years of design experience in curtain walls, cladding panels, spider structures, steel structures and space frames. The role will lead and develop new construction technologies and innovative design systems to stay ahead of the market and create a strong market differentiation, while ensuring an emphasis on the functionality, quality and cost efficiency. This role will sit with the Global HQ and provide direction and technical advice to the regional design teams.
The Person
The successful candidate must have experience in Building Façade and Curtain Wall systems. The candidate should also have a strong grasp of other architectural products and have experience in Podium item such as Cable Net structure, Spider Glazing Steel structure, Skylight systems and Metal claddings. More importantly, the candidate must be able to perform under pressure and be totally committed to follow through tasks within tight schedules.
