Shell Chemicals Seraya is one of many plants that supports the Shell Chemicals business in the manufacturing and production of the range of petrochemicals that Shell currently provides in the industry. We have nearly 70 Shell Chemicals companies operating around the world, making and supplying a range of petrolchemicals which are then further processed by their industrial customers

Responsibilities:
  • Manage construction activities for the site portfolio of projects
  • Develop and maintain master plan for the project portfolio and monitor the progress to ensure every project executed per agreed schedule
  • Keep updated of upcoming projects for construction and determine site construction supervision resources and contractor resource availability and take action
  • Perform and coordinate constructability review for all capital projects
  • Interface with Operations and Maintenance for permit planning and weekly coordination
  • Manage overall Safety of projects activities and ensure incident free completion of all projects
  • Assess contractor performance and feedback through Key Performance Index and incentive awards and shape the behaviour for better performance
  • Responsible for multi-disciplinary Construction management


Requirements:
  • Degree / Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 to 10 years of construction management experience in Petrochemical, Refinery and pharmaceutical plants
  • Experience in management of site construction projects and portfolio of projects concurrently
  • Experience in managing site contractors and supervisors and delivered successful projects
